Site work for a municipal facility in Windom, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
The general nature of the work on which bids will be received consists of the construction of approximately 3.93 miles of 69 kV transmission line. Included is furnishing and installing structures, insulators, conductor, and associated hardware. The Work will be substantially completed on or before August 30, 2023, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before September 29, 2023. Completion of Remaining Work: After Substantial Completion, if Contractor shall neglect, refuse, or fail to complete the remaining Work within the Contract Time (as duly adjusted pursuant to the Contract) for completion and readiness for final payment, Contractor shall pay Owner $500 for each day that expires after such time until the Work is completed and ready for final payment. All bids shall be made on proposal forms furnished by the Engineer and shall be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond, made payable to City of Windom, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, which security becomes the property of the City of Windom in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract and post satisfactory performance and payment bonds
