Site work for a civil project in Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
WSA has undertaken stabilization and erosion control measures since 2015 in the Upper Qu'Appelle River Channel. The proposed work for 2022 is associated with work near Eyebrow Lake. Dyke repair work is located downstream of the Qu'Appelle Rive Dam. The work includes the alteration of the Eyebrow Lake Check structure to a Rock Riffle structure. The alteration will include the removal of four existing culverts and associated infrastructure as well as breaching the riverbank to allow back water into Eyebrow Lake. The dyke repair work will be located down stream of the Qu'Appelle River Dam near Tugaske, Saskatchewan. This location will require a breach in the dyke to be rebuilt with a WSA supplied culvert, headwall, and flap gate. Also included in this work is reclamation of each site which will include hydro seeding and erosion control protection. The work locations are set out in Appendix A - Form of Agreement (Site Locations). Deadline for Questions: August 19, 2022 at 4:00:00 p.m. local SK time
