The City of Lewisville is accepting competitive sealed proposals from qualified general contractors on behalf of The Salvation Army for an interior renovation project at The Salvation Army Lewisville Service Center, located at 880 Fox Ave. Lewisville, TX 75067. Bidders are required to submit a Bid Bond (with proper Power of Attorney) from a surety licensed to do business in the State of Texas, payable without recourse to The Salvation Army, in the amount not less than five (5%) of the total amount of the base bid submitted to insure that the successful bidder will enter into a contract and execute all necessary bonds within fifteen (15) days after notice of award of the contract to them. The bid security MUST be uploaded to Bonfire or included within the proposal envelope along with the cost proposal sheet for the bidder to be considered responsive. The successful proposer will be required to furnish performance, payment, and maintenance bonds as described in the specifications. All insurance certificates and bonds are to be provided and approved by The Salvation Army prior to commencement of any work. All documents that require a signature are to be signed and uploaded to Bonfire or provided within the vendor's proposal envelope if delivered to the City of Lewisville. All good and services provided must be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA") and all regulations promulgated pursuant to the ADA.
