The Rowan County Board of Education will accept sealed bids for approximately 3500 square yards of asphalt paving and milling The Rowan County Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids The contractor is responsible for verifying all measurements. Calculations below are estimates only. All work must be completed within 60 days after the contract award date. Parking lot expansion - Asphalt Pavement - 54' x 18' Avg (6 Spaces) Remove existing topsoil and place soils at approved location. Grade, shape and compact approximately 6 inches of compacted DGA stone base on measured lot. Install 3.0 inches of compacted Asphalt Base and 1.5 inches of compacted Asphalt Surface. Resurfacing project on Viking Drive - Asphalt Pavement Mill & Fill – Approximately 3,100 sqyds Asphalt Pave Milling & Texturing (1.50" Depth) Asphalt Surface -1.50" Compacted Inch Depth
