Salem Canal Trail RFP Project Overview and Description of Project Objectives Salem City (City) is seeking to enter into an agreement with a qualified and motivated Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) firm to provide Construction Manager/General Contractor services for assisting the City and the City's contracted Engineers (Hansen, Allen & Luce and PEC) with detailed design and construction of the Salem Canal Trail (Project) improvements. A previously developed Concept Report describes the project as an asphalt trail 10-feet wide generally following the Salem Canal alignment with a total length of about 6.8 miles.
