Demolition, site work and addition to a municipal facility in Burlingame, California. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

As of September 21, 2022, project was awarded to The project has been awarded to GROUP H CONSTRUCTION INC, awarded amount is $19,930.69. The City of Burlingame is seeking a general contractor to provide labor and materials for an additional enclosed office area within the Finance Department located on the first floor of City Hall. Specifically, we are inviting companies to submit bids to convert an open office area into an enclosed office area for City staff. The project will include constructing two partition walls which includes a door opening and windows, painting, and electrical work. Further information regarding the scope of work for this project is shown in the "Burlingame City Hall - Finance Department" plan specification sheet, attached to this document. The City expects the project will be completed by September 2022. Contractor shall meet the following requirements if awarded the contract: Must have an active "B" contractor's license issued by the California Contractors State License Board. Must pay prevailing wages and meet the City's insurance and business license requirements before starting work. See the attached contractor requirements summary for more details. Any questions regarding this project should be submitted through the online Q&A feature of PB SystemTM. Questions will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. Answers will be available online via PB SystemTM. The City of Burlingame will be accepting bids for this contract via PB SystemTM, a fully automated web-based vendor and bid management system. The City will award the bid to the responsible bidder with the lowest bid Each bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a bidder's bond in the sum of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total aggregate of the bid, and such a check or bond shall be made payable to the City of Burlingame as set forth in Section 2 of the Special Provisions. If the successful bidder fails to file the bonds or to provide the insurance required by the Contract Documents, or refuses to enter into a contract within the specified time, it shall be liable for any difference by which the cost of procuring the work exceeds the amount of its bid and the bond or the amount of cash or check shall be available to offset such difference. The City expects the project will be completed by September 2022.
