The work consists of street base failure and resurfacing on various city streets within the City limits. Several different types of activities will be used including asphalt concrete "dig-out" repairs, asphalt concrete overlay, reconstruction, curb and gutter repair, concrete sidewalk, concrete valley gutters, surface milling, traffic markings and striping, traffic control, concrete base repair, and other related works. Engineer's Estimate for the work is approximately $1,800,000. Any questions regarding this project should be submitted through the online Q&A feature of PB System. Questions can be submitted until 2:00 P.M. on April 11, 2023. Answer will be made available via PB System. The Contractor shall possess a Class A license prior to submitting a bid. No contractors and subcontractor may be listed on the bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.5(a)]. All contractors and subcontractors will be required to furnish electronic certified payroll records directly to the Labor Commissioner (aka Division of Labor Standards Enforcement). All work specified in this project, shall include the base bid and alternate bids (if shown in Proposal), and shall be completed within 60 of Working Days (WD) (sixty working days) from date of the Notice to Proceed
