Construction Cost Range: $250,000.00 to $300,000.00 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Questions Due Date: Aug 29th 2022, 12:00 PM EDT Richland County Utilities (RCU) is seeking a South Carolina registered professional engineers who can demonstrate their experience in planning, designing, bidding, and construction management for a New 300,000 Gallon Elevated Water Storage Tank. The project intent is to improve water pressure and provide additional demand, storage, and maintenance redundancy for the Southeast Water System (Hopkins Well System). RCU will also need assistance with selecting a suitable site for the tank. Additionally, RCU will need input on tank style/type, altitude valve use and sizing, and associated equipment, such as SCADA monitoring. Richland County Utilities is proposing to expand its water storage capacity. The proposed project will consist of designing, bidding, and construction services for a 300,000 Gallon Elevated Tank near the intersection of Congaree Road and Cabin Creek Road west of Eastover, SC. The Method of Contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
