PN_ 7458, 21032.03, FP21-067 It is the intent of this Request for Proposal to select a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CM at Risk) to work collaboratively with Montgomery College and the A/E team led by James Posey Associates to plan and manage the HVAC upgrades for the Paul Peck Art Building on the Rockville campus. The purpose of this Project is to provide a safe and healthy environment forstudents, faculty and staff which meets guidelines and ASHRAE standards. Work must be performed in accordance with the terms, conditions, and Scope of Work described herein. In the event that a supplementary condition is contradictory to a general condition, the supplementary condition shall prevail. The construction budget is approximately $3,250,000. The Paul Peck Art Building on the Rockville Campus is a 27,000 square foot, four-story building which includes several art spaces, a gallery, and offices. The original construction of the building occurred in 1971. Since then, the building has seen several renovations with the most extensive mechanical renovation occurring in 2000 which included a four-pipe fan coil unit space conditioning system, a dedicated outside airsystem, and a small air-handling unit for the gallery, all served by chilled water and heating water from a campus central utility plant.
