Bulk Chemicals for the Medina County Water and Wastewater Treatment Facilities Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty, payable to the owner in an approved form. All bid prices shall include shipping and/or freight costs and will be effective for nine (9) months beginning September 12, 2022 and ending on June 13, 2023. The bulk chemicals will be delivered to any of the following sites: Liverpool Wastewater Treatment Plant 89 Columbia Road, Valley City, Ohio Hinckley Wastewater Treatment Plant 85 Ridge Road, Hinckley, Ohio Chippewa Lake Wastewater Treatment Plant 5750 Kennard Road, Chippewa Lake, Ohio Chippewa Lake Water Treatment Plant 7090 Lake Road, Chippewa Lake, Ohio Crocker Road Pump Station 7450 Crocker Road, Valley City, Ohio Spieth Road Pump Station 8141 Spieth Road, Litchfield, Ohio Westfield Water Treatment Plant 7064 Greenwich Road, Westfield Center, Ohio Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, payable to the owners, County of Medina, for 5% of the total amount of the bid. As soon as the bid prices have been compared, the OWNER will return the bonds to all, except the lowest and most responsible bidder(s). The bid bond of the successful bidder(s) will be retained until a performance bond has been executed and approved, after which it will be returned. A certified check may be submitted in the amount of $100.00 per chemical bid in lieu of a bid bond. The performance bond, in the amount of 10% of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract requirements. The Board of County Commissioners reserve the right to reject and/or accept any or all bids.
