Renovation of a municipal facility in Medina, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The project is being funded with State of Ohio funds, Federal funds and private funds. This solicitation, Re-Bid Package 7, includes the Separate Prime bids for the cabinet work and floor coverings and is funded with Federal funds and private funds. During a previous bidding cycle, the balance of the work for the project including general trades, mechanical, plumbing and electrical work have been bid, awarded and the project is currently under construction. The general trades contractor will be the project's Lead Contractor and will have overall responsibility for the project schedule, the majority of general conditions, temporary facilities, and coordination of all contractors and activities on site. Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 100% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the aforesaid City of Medina or by certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid amount in favor of -The City of Medina. Bid Bonds shall be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond.
