Renovation of a municipal facility in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work under this contract includes, but is not limited to the following: .1 Removal of existing sprinkler as outlined. Provide system draining and associated fire watch when the system is down for modifications. .2 Installation of new sprinkler piping, heads and accessories as outlined. Provide hording over existing shelving where work will occur. .3 Contractor to provide draining/filling of the existing systems as required complete with system flushing. .4 Supply and install all training, start-up reporting and close-out documentation. .5 Coordinate tie-ins and shut-downs with Owner well in advance of completing work. .6 Remove all equipment and materials made redundant by this work as indicated by UNB Project Coordinator. .7 Obtain all required licenses and permits. .8 Clean-up all areas during and at the completion of work. .9 All asbestos abatement to be carried out by Owner. This Contractor to coordinate requirements with UNB project coordinator. .10 Repair damaged surfaces to match existing. .11 Contractor to familiarize their firm with the extent of removals prior to bidding.
