Farmington Electric Utility Systems (FEUS) is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the safe construction of the 115/69/13.8kV Bergin Substation Refurbishment project in Farmington, New Mexico. The work will be constructed in phases, in some cases work will be performed while equipment is energized in the substation. The Combined Civil, Structural, Physical and Physical Electrical work performed under this contract will consist of furnishing labor, equipment, and minor materials necessary for the expansion of the Bergin Substation. Bidder further agrees to pay as liquidated damages in the amount of $2,500 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter that the work remains uncompleted. The Bidder shall submit with their bid a bid bond (proposal guarantee) equal to 5% of the total amount bid. Subcontractor's Listing Threshold: The Bidder shall list each Subcontractor on the Contractor's List of Subcontractor's, Form AF-5, that has provided a bid to them in the amount of $10,302.20 or more.
