The Town of Carrboro is seeking qualifications from interested Engineering Firms to complete the Special Inspections and Materials Testing for the new Town of Carrboro and Orange County Community Center (The 203 Project). The proposed site is an existing gravel parking lot located at 203 South Greensboro Street. The 203 facility will include a new three-story, 53,000 GSF building and adjacent 173 car capacity parking deck. The project is currently planned for a Construction Manager at Risk delivery method. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted in writing no later than 5:00 PM Tuesday, August 16, 2022. Only written questions will be considered. Any information given by telephone will be considered informal. Any questions that the Town feels are pertinent to all proposers will be emailed as an addendum to the solicitation by Wednesday, August 17, 2022. Fax and e-mail messages will be treated as written questions. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
