This solicitation is being issued for the acquisition of Quarters Cleanup, Rodent Removal, Mold Remediation and winterization of Quarters units at Jones Hole National Fish Hatchery. Questions are to be submitted via email to Caleb_Kindsvater@fws.gov no later than 08/19/2022 Offers are to be submitted via email to Caleb_Kindsvater@fws.gov no later than 08/26/2022 (mail in and Facsimile offers will be rejected, offers are to be sent via email only) Delivery: 10/01/2022 00010 Repair Bunkhouse from rodent infestation Period of Performance: 09/01/2022 to 10/01/2022 Clarifications: Quarters #6 = Quarters #2 This one unit and is referred to as both. 1.1 Jones Hole National Fish Hatchery (NFH), 24495 East Jones Hole Hatchery Road, Vernal, UT 84078-2042. Service, Quarters Cleanup, Rodent Removal, Mold Remediation, and Winterization. 1.2 Purpose/End Application: This project is to provide a safe and healthy living space for Employees. The quarters need to cleaned-up from a water heater leak, have rodents removed, mold remediated, and quarters winterized. 1.3 Contractor Qualifications: The contractor must be appropriately licensed and certified within the state of Utah the specified services. 1.4 Other: The contractor must follow all associated regulations and laws including: Federal, State, and County. 2. Place of Performance and Period of Performance 2.1 Work is to be performed at Jones Hole National Fish Hatchery, 24495 East Jones Hole Hatchery Road, Vernal, UT 84078-2042. 2.2 This project needs to be completed prior to October 01, 2022. 2.3 Normal duty hours Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. In the event of emergencies, Contractor shall provide contact information. 2.4 Non-duty hours include week nights, weekends, and Government holidays (New Year's Day, Martin Luther King JR.s's Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day). 3. Scope 3.1 The contractor shall remove and legally dispose of old water heater in Quarters #1 and replace said water heater with a more energy efficient model. 3.1.1 The contractor shall remediate for mold to include: cleaning of all affected surfaces and application of anti-microbial coating. 3.1.2 The contractor shall remove affected drywall and baseboards, and install new dry wall and baseboards to include: texture and paint. 3.1.3 The contractor shall steam clean carpets and tile and wipe down walls, cabinets, doors, appliances, and fixtures. 3.2 The contractor shall remove dead rodents from Quarters #3 and Quarters #33 (Bunkhouse). 3.2.1 The contractor shall remediate damage caused by rodents and all associated urine and feces. 3.2.2 The contractor shall clean and disinfect quarters after rodent remediation. 3.2.3 The contractor shall steam clean carpets and tile, and wipe down walls, cabinets, doors, appliances, and fixtures. 3.2.4 The contractor shall remove all affected wall/ceiling materials (drywall, panel, or other) and associated insulation, and install new wall material (matching the original) and new insulation. 3.3 The contractor shall remove all mold within the bathroom of Quarters #6, to include removal of the shower stall and replacement of said stall after the mold is remediated. 3.3.1 The contractor shall remove all affected drywall and install new drywall, to include: texture and paint. 3.3.2 The contractor shall clean exhaust fan in bathroom. 3.4 The contractor shall winterize quarters #32.
