Over view: Successful Contractor to provide all materials, labor and equipment necessary to install a Tile Crossing located on US 65 approximately 1/2 mile north of Liberty Center. The crossing will be upsized to an 18" diameter pipe. A rolled steel option will be given as an alternative for jacking. It is estimated that the length of need from ROW to ROW is 265 feet. No bid bond is required on this solicitation. A performance bond will be required of the successful contractor if the total amount of the project exceeds $25,000.00. Start of project after removal of crops. Completion by December 31, 2022, as determined by Project Manger. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
