The City of North Platte is seeking the services of a qualified business to perform the modernization of one elevator in the Library building. The City and selected contractor will enter into a contractual agreement to modernize a 1970 Montgomery, vertical service elevator that serves two floors at the City Library. The expected work will include the mechanical and electrical components being replaced, refurbished or retained, the removal and disposal of elevator components not being used in the modernization, the supply and installation of new components, and updates required per the Code as mandated by the Nebraska State Fire Marshal Agency, Elevator Division. At this time the elevator presently in non-operational. The work consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment and supervision for the Elevator Modernization project at 120 West 4th Street, City Library, North Platte, NE. The Scope of Work is outlined in PART II and within the bid documents. Elevator evaluations will be scheduled and by appointment only.
