Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
This solicitation has been designated to be awarded to a State of Minnesota Targeted Group (TG), Economically Disadvantaged (ED), or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. ONLY responses received from Contractors that are TG/ED/VO certified through the Department of Administration, Office of Equity in Procurement, will be considered. More information on the State of Minnesota Small Business Certification program may be obtained through portal. This project is for structural repairs to the Cass Gilbert Overlook on the Minnesota State Capitol Complex. The Scope of Work includes structural repair of the deteriorated concrete, replacement of the concrete topping slab and underlying waterproofing system, replacement of the metal guard railing, sealant replacement, and relocation of the existing security camera to a new position as directed by the State. The expected repairs are as follows: repair deteriorated concrete on the structural slabs, replace the topping slab and waterproofing system, install metal scuppers to drain water from the slab, replace railings to be code-compliant and match Complex standard, install sealant at expansion joint, replace security camera and mount on a new pole, and clean all concrete surfaces.
