Notice is hereby given that the sealed bids will be received by the City of Bellevue, Washington, for: Newport Sewer Basin Capacity Improvements Cascade Key Force Main BID NUMBER: 22026 Bids must be in a sealed envelope labelled with the project name and bid number. Join by Skype for Business Work contemplated to be performed under this contract is as follows: o Furnish and install approximately 3,257 linear feet of 10-inch diameter HDPE sewer pipe (force main and gravity pipe) o Furnish and install approximately 65 linear feet of retrained-joint 8-inch diameter sewer pipe (force main and gravity pipe) o Furnish and install two (2) 48-inch diameter sewer manholes approximately 6 feet deep o Furnish and install approximately 37 linear feet of 14-inch diameter steel casing for creek crossing (mounted to grade beams on one side of the existing concrete culvert over Coal Creek) o Sewer appurtenances, traffic control, TESC, pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk/driveway and landscaping restoration as needed to support the above activities. BID BOND REQUIRED: Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the form of cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of such bid. Checks shall be made payable to the City Treasurer. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid bond shall be forfeited to the City of Bellevue. Builder's Exchange will manage the official plan holders list and notification to those on the list of any and all addenda related to this project. Bids documents and addenda will also be posted to the Public Purchase website. Addenda may not be available or updated on any other website other than through the official plan holders list. The City of Bellevue reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date and time set for the opening thereof.
