Plans call for window replacement and exterior improvements at an existing apartment complex. A. This is a window replacement and exterior improvements project and is not intended to affect the overall structure of the building or its components. The full scope of work is shown on the construction drawings and as specified elsewhere in this Project Manual however the following is an abbreviated list of the general scope of work: 1. Removal and replacement of all exterior doors, windows, storefront systems, and curtain wall systems; and all associated components, including tenant unit ac sleeves which are incorporated into the existing and new window systems. 2. Repair of damaged gyp. bd. around tenant unit windows and other select areas. 3. Exterior concrete wall surfaces repair and coating including but not limited to; cleaning and power washing, repair of any cracks, delaminations, honey combs, or otherwise damaged areas, and application of new protective coating. 4. Exterior EIFS wall surfaces repair and coating including but not limited to; cleaning and power washing, repair of any cracked or otherwise damaged areas, and application of new protective coating. 5. Removal and replacement of all exterior building joint sealants; including sealants around all existing devices or components not scheduled to be removed and replaced with new. 6. Removal and replacement of insulation nabove covered walkway and recessed window soffit areas. Addendum #1 has been issued as of 9-6-2022.
