Bids must be submitted on copies ofthe bid form in the specifications andmust be accompanied by a separateenvelope containing a bidders bondin a sum equal to five percent (5%) ofthe full amount of the bid executed bythe bidder as principal and by a suretycompany authorized to do business inthis state, conditioned that if the bidders bid be accepted and the contractbe awarded to the bidder, the bidder,within ten (10) days after notice ofaward, will execute and effect a contract in accordance with the terms ofthe bidders bid and a contractorsbond as required by law and the regulations and determinations of theKandiyohi County. The successfulbidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment Bond in thefull amount of their contract. Bidders must hold a Minnesota Contractors License and carry MinnesotaWorkers Compensation Insurance asrequired by law. The required bidbond envelope shall also contain acopy of the Contractors License orCertificate of Renewal thereof issuedby the Secretary of State as requiredby law. The owner reserves the right to holdall bids for a period of thirty (30) daysafter the day fixed for the opening ofthe bids, and the right to reject any orall bids and to waive any informalities. No bid will be read or consideredwhich does not fully comply with theabove provisions as to bond and licenses and any deficient bid will beresealed and returned to the bidderimmediately.
