Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Chilhowie, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of September 20, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Construction of concrete sidewalk, curb & gutter, drainage improvements Bids must be accompanied by Bid security as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder must be licensed as a Class A contractor in the State of Virginia prior to the execution of the Agreement. Each Bidder must be a Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Pre-Qualified Contractor. Bidders shall comply with Executive Order 11246, entitled, "Equal Employment Opportunity," as amended by Executive Order 11375 and as supplemented in Department of Labor regulations (41 CFR Part 60). Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firms are encouraged to submit Bids. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder.
