As of April 25, 2024, the project was awarded to Tele-Optics, with an awarded amount of $72,795.80. The estimated project cost for both projects is between $80,000 and $100,000. We are seeking bids for an intercom system to replace the existing intercom system at Chilhowie Elementary School. Modified the desired completion date to June 30, 2024. The Smyth County School Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals in whole or in part and waive any informality in the competitive negotiation process. Further, the School Board reserves the right to enter into any contract deemed to be in the best interest of the school division. Late proposals will NOT be opened or considered. The Smyth County School Board will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by a firm in preparing and submitting a proposal, or in engaging in oral presentation, discussions, or negotiations with the Board or its representatives. Proposals must be in one single document. Offerors shall submit one (1) signed original of their proposal.
