Site work for a water / sewer project in Chilhowie, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Town of Chilhowie is seeking a proposal and bid from a qualified contractor to replace a mechanical bar screen at the sewer treatment plant. The mechanical screen failed in July, 2024 and a manual screen is only being utilized presently at the licensed 999,999 million gallon per day (.999 MGD) plant. The proposal and bid should include a brief synopsis of the company bidding, including its history, its experience with similar projects (and Town of Chilhowie if applicable), the principals to be involved, references on similar projects, estimates on when work could begin, duration of the project, etc. The bid would be a turnkey finished price. The Town of Chilhowie reserves the right to refuse any and all bids / proposals.
