Schiffer Alternative School Ropes Course 850 Dome Loop Sheridan, WY 82801 DESCRIPTION OF WORK The work includes, procurement and installation for Design-Bid-Build Equipment (FF&E) indoor ropes course to be installed in the existing Gym/ Multi-purpose space of the John C. Schiffer Alternative School. The ropes course includes the addition of the following equipment: Climbing Wall, Giant Ladder, Cargo Net, Leap of Faith, and Marionette Climb. Installation shall include all belay safety systems and pulley system tie-offs so that each piece of equipment (other than the climbing wall) can be suspended up hight above the gym floor when not in use. Installer must take care not to damage existing floors, walls, doors & windows, roofstructure and ceilings during installation of new indoor ropes course. WAGE RATE GUIDELINES No wage rate guidelines will be established for this project Bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the base bid will be required in the form of a Bid Bond, Cashier's Check or Certified Check payable to the Owner. Security will be returned to unsuccessful bidders. It is agreed by the undersigned, if awarded the contract, to execute and deliver to the Owner, prior to issuance of the contract, a Performance Bond covering the faithful performance of the contract, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond covering the payment of all obligation arising under this project, each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. CONTRACT TIME: It is agreed by the undersigned, if awarded the contract the successful Bidder will have the project at substantial completion by July 31, 2023 or liquidated damages will apply
