A prospective developer was selected the contracts were never finalized. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Springfield is requesting proposals for the disposition and redevelopment of East Side Main Street (Parcel Number 08130-0409) located at the corner of Main and Waverly Street. The property consists of a vacant parcel with approximately 14,174 square feet of total land area. The property is located in the North End neighborhood with excellent access to Interstate 91 and Interstate 291. The City has not and does not make any representations or warranty as to any matter affecting or relating to the facilities, including but not limited to the physical condition thereof, and the selected developer acknowledges that no such representation or warranty has been made and agrees to take the facilities in; condition on the date of this agreement. The City shall not be liable or bound in any manner by any statement, representation, information pertaining to the facilities which may have been furnished to the developer by any of the Citys employees, attorneys, agents, servants, or other persons. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
