The City of Gunnison is requesting qualified engineering consultants to respond to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Water Treatment and infrastructure design. This design will be used in the construction of the Water Treatment Plant and infrastructure upgrades and must comply with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment requirements for its Clean Water State Revolving Fund loan program, the Colorado Department of Local Affairs and the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development Loan and Grant Program. General Requirements - Federally Funded The City's selection committee will review and rank the highest qualified firms. After short listing and interviews are completed, a final scope, schedule and fee will be negotiated with the firm that is determined to be in the best overall interest of the City of Gunnison. The City of Gunnison reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received in response to this solicitation and to waive any irregularities. Delivery Point 1100 W. The offeror is responsible solely to deliver their proposal to the proper place and at the time designated. The fact that a proposal was dispatched will not be considered. The city will confirm receipt of proposals via email and time stamp with signature on hard copies. Proposal Evaluation - A City committee will review each proposal based upon the outlined evaluation criteria identified in this RFQ. City staff will forward recommendations to the City Council that will make the award. Proposals accepted by the City shall be valid for a period of sixty (60) days following the submittal due date. Proposals may be withdrawn upon receipt of written request, prior to scheduled deadline for the purpose of making any corrections and/or changes. Corrections must be properly identified and signed or initialed by offeror. Resubmittal must be prior to scheduled deadline for consideration. Any questions or clarifications regarding this proposal must be submitted to Mike Rogers in writing no later than the date identified in the Schedule section of this RFQ. All clarifications will be issued in written format. No oral changes shall take place during any conversations. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
