Site work for a service station / car wash facility in West Haven, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a service station / car wash facility.

The City of West Haven (hereafter referred to as the City) is soliciting a Request for Proposals for the installation of above ground (AST) 5,000 gallon fire guard gasoline tank connections to an existing fuel dispenser. We are seeking qualified firms to perform excavating, plumbing and electrical work, to connect an existing gasoline dispenser pump to an existing 5,000 gallon AST The City reserves the right to reject any or all responses, and to waive any or all formalities in connection with this request. Any responses received after the above scheduled due date and time shall not be accepted or considered. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals if it deems such to be in the best interest of the City of West Haven. Questions regarding the Request for Proposals should be directed to Rick Spreyer, Director of Procurement, by e-mail at rspreyer@westhaven-ct.gov Contractors must be qualified to perform Municipal work by being pre-qualified/registered with the State of CT Department of Administrative Services, be properly licensed for certain trade work, and comply with all rules and regulations associated with State Funding of public works projects. Supply all parts, wiring, piping, fittings, equipment, labor, software, and programming to complete the project in a turnkey design/build mode. Review existing conditions and provide all necessary equipment, parts, material, labor, and software to complete the work. Apply for and receive building permits from the Building Official and Fire Marshal. Excavate 80' of trench including cutting of asphalt. Install double wall gasoline pipe from tank to dispenser. Raise dispenser and install above ground stainless steel sump, extend wiring connection accordingly. Make pipe connections to dispenser. Install electrical conduit from AST to building that houses Fuel Master Brand monitoring system Make all connections to Fuel Master System, program software for sensors Install tank monitoring sensors, interstitial space sensors, sump sensors and pipe leak sensors where required. Relocate E Stop button where required by Building Official Install secondary vapor recovery equipment on tank Back fill and restore pavement/grass Provide all testing and coordinate inspections with Building Official and Fire Marshal
