Description of Project: MSB is expanding the gas collection and control system (GCCS) in Cell 2A, installing additional gas vents in the Construction & Demolition area, and installing two recirculation laterals and a vertical injection well in Cell 3 (as an alternative bid) at the Palmer Central Landfill. All Work under this Contract shall be completed according to the Drawings and Specifications. In general, the work includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. Obtain permits as required. 2. Provide and maintain soil erosion control devices. 3. Drill and install landfill gas collection wells. 4. Install all equipment as shown on the contract drawings. 5. Furnish and install above ground and below ground piping as specified in the contract documents and as shown on the contract drawings. 6. Furnish and install all vaults, pumps, equipment, and valves as specified in the contract documents and as shown on the contract drawings. 7. Provide project management including scheduling and cost control. 8. Provide construction services as follows: a. Construction supervision. b. Safety program. c. Quality control program. d. Equipment and Material purchasing. e. Equipment and Material scheduling and expediting. f. Equipment and Material storage. g. Labor and supervision. h. Construction work scheduling and planning. 9. Provide start-up, initial operation and testing support as follows: a. Mechanical / Electrical startup technicians: (1) Conduct piping hydrotests / pressure testing, pipe flushes, equipment startups, etc., to take equipment from construction turnover to fully operational. 10.
