Renovation of a residential development in Bouctouche, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
* Award subject to final approval. The work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following: .1 Demolition of the existing energy recovery ventilation (ERV) system, including the existing ERV unit, heating coil, supply and exhaust ductwork and ceiling grilles. .2 Supply and installation of a new ERV unit complete with new ductwork, heating coils, fire dampers, diffuser/grille assemblies with integral fire stop flaps (fire dampers), backdraft and balancing dampers and all work as indicated on drawings 2300-1 and 2300-2. .3 Modifications to the building exterior walls to accommodate the installation of new exhaust and intake louvres. .4 Modifications to the building interior ceilings as required to install new grilles and diffusers, removal and reinstallation of an existing fire-rated attic access hatch to allow installation of new equipment. .5 Demolition of existing electrical equipment as indicated on the drawings .6 Supply and installation of new electrical equipment as indicated, including but not limited to: circuit breakers, conduit and wiring, wiring devices, connections to mechanical equipment, and fire alarm system modifications. .7 Asbestos abatement required for any work that interferes with the existing drywall joint compound. Patch and repair gypsum board where removals were completed. Prime and paint to match existing adjacent finishes. .8 Supply and installation of new blown-in insulation to increase the insulation value to R-50 and extend existing ventilation baffles in the attic. .9 Supply and installation of new under cabinet range hoods in the kitchen of each suite. Owner to provide 610mm (24") upper cabinets above the stove in each kitchen. Documents are available through the Construction Association of NB.
