A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Hemlock Farms Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company (HFFR) is soliciting bids for a stormwater mitigation at their firehouse complex. A Prevailing Wage determination has been requested from the PA Department of Labor and Industry and Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this project. The determination is included in the bid package. The following Project Description is based on information currently available. Each Bidder should evaluate the work involved, prior to submission of a proposal. The project briefly described is: Stormwater mitigation and paving for Hemlock Farms Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company. Bids may be held by HFFR for a period not to exceed five (5) days from the date of Bid Opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of the Bidder, prior to the award of the Contract. HFFR will award the bid to the lowest responsible bidder, reserving the right to waive any informality and accept or reject any and all Bids. No bid bond is required. A performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount shall be provided by the successful bidder within 20 days of the award.
