NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the LENNOX SCHOOL DISTRICT (District), acting by and through its Board of Education, will receive up to, but not later than the above-stated date and time, in-person Bid Proposals from Prequalified Bidders for the Contract for the Work generally described as LS DISTRICT HVAC Assessment, Repair and Maintenance RFP NO. R06-09.09.22 As a condition of submitting a bid for this Project, and in accordance with California Public Contract Code section 20111.6, the Lennox School District requires pre-qualification on all CUPCCAA Construction Contracts. To become prequalified, applications must be submitted to electronically. PQBids is an easy-to-use web-based application that streamlines the new Department of Industrial Relations pre-qualification process. The link is available at electronically on the Business Services Department webpage under Bid Opportunities. Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code, and be licensed to perform the work called for in the Contract Documents. The successful bidder must possess a valid and active Class B and C20 at the time of bid and throughout the duration of this Contract. The Contractor s California State License number shall be clearly stated on the bidder s proposal. The District reserves the right to reject any or all Bid Proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any Bid Proposal or in the bidding.
