Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Taylor, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Construction of a bulb-out on the northwest corner of 2nd Street and Main Street (SH 95), including curb & gutter, concrete sidewalk, pavers, curb ramps, fixed bollards, curb inlet modification, and pedestrian signal poles. Construction services for this project will be selected through competitive sealed proposals in accordance with Chapter 2269, of the Texas Government Code. The City will evaluate and rank the contractors based on the following selection criteria: 30% Contractor Relevant Experience and References, 60% Cost Proposal, and 10% Schedule Proposal. As the project is on the State Highway System, Proposers shall not be debarred by TxDOT. Each Proposal must be accompanied by Proposal Security made payable to Owner in an amount of five percent (5%) of Proposer's total amount Proposed and in the form of a certified or cashier's check or a Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. The expected time for Substantial Completion is 42 calendar days (minimum of 28 days and maximum of 56 days).
