Number: AC-HSIPG-000B(683)E This project, located in District 3, consists of providing all labor, materials, and equipment to install pavement markers in asphalt and PCC/concrete pavements, remove existing pavement markers steel/metal holders (castings) in existing asphalt or concrete pavements, and repair of damaged roadway groove cuts due to the removal of steel holders or missing steel holders with asphalt mastic, or as directed by the Engineer, at various locations in Montgomery and Prince George's Counties. This is a non-exclusive Contract. It does not include all work expected to be performed in the designated areas. Therefore, at times, other Contractors may be performing similar work that is not associated with this Contract. Special attention is directed to GP-5.06, Cooperation Between Contractors A Pre Bid Conference will not be held for this project Minimum wage rates, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon latest the blank electronic proposal form (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least 5 percent (5%) of the total amount bid, unless otherwise stated in the IFB. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00, unless otherwise stated in the IFB.
