Fy23 Roadway Rehabilitation Services Project The Work Under This Contract Includes but is Not Limited to Roadway Resurfacing and Other Related Work Items. Massachusetts Department of Transportation (Massdot) Prequalification is Required. Attention of the Bidder is Called to the Requirements for Prevailing Wage Rates to Be Paid as Per M.g.l., Chapter 149, and Section 26 to 27h Inclusive and Reporting Associated Thereto. Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond, a Certified Check, a Treasurer's or Cashier's Check Issued by a Responsible Bank or Trust Company or Cash Payment, in the Amount of Five (5) Percent of the Submitted Bid, as Bid Security. The Checks Are to Be Made Payable to the Town of Nahant, Massachusetts. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish a Payment and Performance Bond Each in the Amount of 100% of the Contract Amount. No Bidder May Withdraw His/her Bid for a Period of Ninety (90) Days After the Date Designated Above for the Opening. Bids for This Contract Are Subject to the Provisions of M.g.l., Chapter 30, Section 39m. The Town of Nahant Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or to Accept Any Bid Deemed by Them to Be in the Best Interest of the Town of Nahant, and to Limit the Extent of the Work to Keep Within the Limits of Available Funds.
