**As of September 26,2022, due to funding limits project only awarded Little Creek Playground to Bliss Products & Services for $95,050.00.** Replace mulch with poured in place rubber playground surfacing at up to 3 existing playgrounds. This is an informal purchase with installation contract under $90,000. A N.C. general contractor's license is not required of the firm who installs the asphalt paving, as long as that work does not exceed $30,000. The general Scope of Work includes removal of existing mulch safety surfacing, light grading work, installation of underlayment base (two options) and installation of new rubber poured-in-place safety surfacing meeting fall protection standards. For bidding instructions, contact Darren Redfield at darrenmr@cityofws.org (preferred) or 336-747- 6936 during normal business hours. The End of Question period is 5:00 PM, September 7, 2022. It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure their bid proposal is received prior to the deadline. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all proposals.
