The City of Brevard is seeking Requests for Qualifications on a variety of engineering services including but not limited to the ability to design stormwater drainage plans, water and wastewater systems, relocation of utilities such as gas, electrical and telecommunications with preference given to experience managing Brownfield sites and facilitating public engagement on projects when needed. The Engineer will also be responsible for preparing bid documents and Construction Management. The City currently has a stormwater, public utility projects in downtown and in a City park with Brownfield restrictions and other environmental considerations such as wetlands and floodplain along a designated trout stream. The Engineering Firm is expected to provide the following services or possess the ability to successfully execute these service needs: o Provide physical interconnection and extension of public water or wastewater infrastructure to provide regional service. o Rehabilitate existing public water or wastewater infrastructure. o Decentralize an existing public water system or wastewater system into smaller viable parts. o Infrastructure construction projects for public water systems and wastewater system. o Construction projects for the development and implementation of a new stormwater utility or stormwater control measure (SCM), the rehabilitation of existing SCMs, the retrofitting of existing stormwater conveyances to provide SCMs for quantity and quality control purposes, or the installation of innovative technologies or nature-based solutions for flood control. o Planning projects and documents for research or investigative studies, alternatives analyses, the preparation of engineering concept plans or engineering designs, and similar activities intended to help an eligible entity determine the best solutions for the entity's stormwater quality or quantity issue and to engineer and permit the solutions. o Streambank Restoration, wetlands rehabilitation studies and plans.
