Renovation of an educational facility in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
UFV invites proposals from qualified and experienced companies with a successful record of Construction Management Services for higher education facilities to provide Construction Management Services for UFV’s CEP-S Renovation Project located at UFV’s Chilliwack Campus. The vision for the CEP-S project is to have the renovation of the Heavy Duty & Commercial Transport renovation to improve the functionality, safety, and inclusivity for its end-users. The Project entails the renovation of classroom space on level 2 of Building C as well as the install of the shop space. The shop space will also require the procurement and install of a 5T and 2T steel hoist crane. Shop space will also require renovation to include services bays with full functioning exhaust, water, and fire suppression systems. Renovation work will include new walls, combining of classrooms, install of a passage door into the mezzanine, refinishing of the existing class rooms and shop space, and associated mechanical, plumbing, fire suppression, electrical and communication modification associated with the new layout.
