Site work and paving for a civil project in Defiance, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The City of Defiance intends to contract for professional services in connectionwith the Darbyshire Area Waterline & Pavement Improvements project. Statement of qualifications shall include a letter of interest and information regarding the firm's history and financial stability; the technical expertise, availability and location of the staff dedicated to the project; the firm's experiencein performing similar services and ability to perform similar work in a timelymanner; references and contact names for similar projects; evidence of propercertification and/or licensing to do business in the State of Ohio; and any previous work performed for the City of Defiance. As required by Ohio Revised Code Section 153.65-71, responding firms will beevaluated and ranked in order of their qualifications. Following this evaluation,the City of Defiance may decide to conduct interviews and subsequently enterinto contract negotiations with the most highly qualified firm. Once the Cityand the consultant agree upon the scope of services, the consultant will developa fee proposal for the City's consideration. If the fee proposal is agreeable, thetwo parties will enter into a contract. If the fee proposal is not acceptable, thetwo parties will attempt to agree on revisions to the scope of work and budget,and if agreeable enter into a contract for the project.
