Site work for a water / sewer project in Greenville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work is primarily located at the GUC Water Treatment Plant at GUC WTP 1721 Water Way Rd, Greenville, NC 27834, and consists of the following: o Replacement of four wedge-wire water supply intake screens (to be furnished by Owner) o Dredging in the vicinity of the intake screens o Removal of sand and debris from the two 30-inch raw water pipelines from the intake screens to the pump station wet well Bids will be received for a SINGLE prime Contract. Bids shall be on a LUMP SUM and UNIT PRICE ITEM basis, with an additive Alternative Bid item as indicated on the Bid Form. The Contract Times for the Work are set forth in the Agreement. The Greenville Utilities Commission has adopted a resolution that requires the Commission to solicit minority and women owned businesses to Bid on the Project. The established goals for this project are a 7% goal for minority participation and 4% goal for women participation. Bidders are also required to make good faith efforts to secure bids from Minority and Women Owned Businesses. The Greenville Utilities Commission reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
