Renovation of a military facility in Annville, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

Through this RFI, The JOC has an existing AV system in Building 0-34, Fort Indiantown Gap; this system has some issues that we would like to be addressed with this RFI. This will be an effort to upgrade or replace the existing system. Summary. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (Commonwealth), Department of Military and Veterans Affairs issues this Request for Information (RFI) to solicit concerning potential service providers for Audio System for Joint Operations Center (JOC), Fort Indiantown Gap (FTIG) located in Annville, PA that may be used to assist with the development of an upcoming Request for Proposal (RFP). Through this RFI, The JOC has an existing AV system in Building 0-34, Fort Indiantown Gap; this system has some issues that we would like to be addressed with this RFI. This will be an effort to upgrade or replace the existing system. 1. The existing video wall has discoloration and lines on the screens. 2. The customer requires more outputs to add monitors in the building. 3. They require all screens in the building tied to the system to be able to display any content they require to any screen. 4. There are two existing monitors in the conference room that they would like upgraded to larger commercial displays. 5. They require 18 screens either upgraded at existing locations or new additions in select locations (see attached diagram). These screens should be commercial rated and have the ability to play sound from the display. The current are only monitors and won't play sound. 6. They require additional flexibility to create custom layouts in the Video Wall. 7. They would like to see if there are upgrades available to the current workstation inputs. They are stating that the current ones are not working reliably and are bulky. 8. The ceiling mounted microphones and speakers in the area seem to be working well but are not working properly with Teams and other new communications mediums, they would require this to be fixed. 9. There is a second small conference room in the building where they would require ceiling mounted microphones and speakers, as well as monitors and a control touch panel in this alternate conference room much like the other to increase building capabilities. 10. They would like to see if there is an upgrade available to the current touch panels. 11. They require all components of the video wall replacement to have a shelf life of longer than 5 years. 12. They request to have this quoted in two ways. One quote for everything at once. They would also like a second quote taking a phased approach handling the most critical systems and upgrades first in a way that makes sense with the rest of the work needing to be completed. For these quotes we would like a minimum of a 3 to 5-year maintenance option along with warranty details for all components. At minimum, the maintenance contract will include quarterly maintenance visits, and any emergency requests for resolution will be serviced within 4 hours of the initial call on weekdays and weekends. All electric and communications drops will be in place ready for use and will be completed by DMVA. The contractor will only have to mount and install monitors and all other equipment, patch and plug in equipment along with working with JFHQ-PA G6 to install software, conduct training, and test the product. We will require one-time on-site end user training. In addition to the training, the awarded contractor shall provide a written instruction manual with pictures. Will require minimum 3 to 5-year maintenance packages to choose from. The Commonwealth desires to produce an RFP that promotes competition and creative technical solutions. The Commonwealth is open to any, and all feedback in relation to this project and encourages alternative ideas that will help the Commonwealth better define its requirements. This RFI is an earnest attempt to become aware of and knowledgeable about current solutions to support the project requirements of the Commonwealth. This RFI will also help the Commonwealth identify providers able to provide the required services to support this goal.
