A timeline for award has not yet been established For furnishing the necessary equipment, materials and labour and performing all work for the "2022 Road Program in the Village of Bratenahl, Ohio", in accordance with the plans, specifications, standards and requirements prepared by the Village Engineer, Donald P. Bierut PE, 22999 Forbes Road, Suite B, Oakwood, Ohio 44146. The bid documents, specifications and drawings may be examined without charge online. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn on a solvent bank in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid, or in lieu of such certified check, a bid bond drawn on a reputable surety, listed on the most current edition of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid, which check or bond shall be made payable to the Village of Bratenahl, Ohio, as a guarantee that if said bid is accepted a contract will be entered into and a surety bond satisfactory to said Village in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid will be furnished. Proposals must be submitted on forms available ONLY as noted above and in strict accordance with the plans, specifications, standards and requirements. Each proposal must state the full name of each person, firm or corporation interested in the bid submitted and each bid must be endorsed by the contractor making the proposal, upon the envelope containing each bid, which envelope shall be marked "Bid For: "2022 Road Program in the Village of Bratenahl, Ohio". Only contractors who can qualify as to equipment, prior experience and financial responsibility will be considered and the Village may require proof thereof. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids and conditional bids will not be considered under any circumstances.
