The Bids Are Being Solicited to Provide for Construction of a Complete Our Old Monrovia Substation Project for a 46kv-12kv Substation in Madison County, Alabama. Prospective Bidders Are Encouraged to Submit Questions via Email to Miranda.duke@hsvutil.org Before, September 21, 2022, at 9:00 Am Cdt. Our Personnel Will Be Available to Answer Questions and Concerns, as Well as Go Over Details of the Bid and Project. Personnel Will Be Available to Show the Jobsite After the Prebid Meeting, if Desired. As Part of the Prequalification's for This Bid, Attendance at the Prebid Meeting is Mandatory. Bids Will Be Accepted Only From Qualified General Contractors Licensed by the State of Alabama. Only Bids of Such Contractors Who Are Licensed Prior to the Date of the Bid Opening Will Be Considered. Scope of Work is to Include Labor, Equipment, Transportation, Supervision and Incidental Materials as Required. Other Line Items as Described in the Specifications and Contract Documents Are an Integral Part of This Contract. A Cashier's Check or a Bid Bond Payable to the City of Huntsville, Alabama, D/b/a/ Huntsville Utilities for an Amount Not Less Than 5% of the Contractor's Bid, but in No Event More Than $10,000.00, Will Be Required to Accompany Each Contractor's Bid. Performance and Payment Bonds Are Required for This Project. The Right to Reject Any and All Bids is Reserved.
