The Princeton Fall 2022 Planting Project includes the following work: Installation of specified plantings at various locations throughout the municipality, including soil amendments, mulch, and topsoil backfill mixture; and all other labor and materials as may be reasonably inferred as needed to complete the work. Bidders are advised that the contract must be completed no later than December 30, 2022. Required documents to be submitted are set forth in Paragraph 1C of the section of the specifications entitled Instructions to Bidders. Bids may be submitted in person or by mail and they will be received at the Municipal Clerk's Office and publicly opened, examined and announced at the above designated date and time. No bids will be received after the above designated date and time. The Municipality assumes no responsibility for the loss or the non-delivery of any bid sent to it prior to the bid opening. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1 et seq. Bidders shall also be required to comply with all other requirements as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. The Municipal Government (Mayor and Council of Princeton) reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or to accept a bid which, in its judgment, best serves the interest of the Municipality. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date set for the opening of bids. The formal act of the Municipality, by duly adopted resolution, accepting the work after final completion. Final acceptance shall not become effective until receipt and approval of the required Maintenance Bond, releases, waivers, and other documents required in the Contract Documents as a prerequisite to final acceptance. Final acceptance shall be processed in accordance with Section 3.11.
