Renovation of an educational facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 126,431-square-foot educational facility.
As of September 28th, 2022, project has been awarded to Heartland Contracting. Constructing began last September 27th and will be completed by the end of December of this year. Renovation of existing offices in UNC Charlotte Colvard Hall. Rooms will be combined to create one large Active Learning Classroom with TVs along the walls and floor track powering tables. A breakroom will also be renovated. The project includes renovation of existing offices in UNC Charlotte College of Education Building. As of August 29, 2022, a general contractor has not yet been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released.
