The project consists of a 19,145 SF single story building consisting of classrooms, administrative offices, an MPR, and commercial kitchen designed around two courtyards, with two parking lots, and an access road. BIDDING Each bid shall be made out on the bid form marked Exhibit (A) - Bid Schedule Form. Segregated bids will not be accepted. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier s check or bid bond for of the total amount of the bid. TIMEFRAME OF PROJECT Award of this Contract is subject to a determination by BIA that the contractor is eligible to contract for federally funded activities. The Contract time allotted for this project is 12 months. TEMPORARY BUSINESS LICENSE All Contractors performing construction projects for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe are subject to a TERO Business License Fee. Additional information regarding the Business License Fee is included in the Contract Documents. STATE AND LOCAL TAXES The Pascua Yaqui Tribe is a Sovereign Nation. As such, Contractors performing work for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe are exempt from local and state taxes other than those state and local taxes as required by the contractor s or subcontractor s operations. Please consult your own tax expert to know your own tax liability. TRIBAL AND CERTIFIED WAGES The Pascua Yaqui Tribe requires that Construction trades performing work on this project are to be paid the higher of the Tribal Wage Scale or the prevailing local wages. This requirement applies to all employees regardless of tribal affiliation. Weekly certified payrolls will be required on this project. RFI deadline: Friday, September 30 th at 5:00 PM local time.
