Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Yakima, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the construction of a water / sewer project.
Project was awarded to Sell and Construction Inc in the amount of $2,078,710.20. Site Directions: 1419 S 44th Avenue, Yakima, WA. Located on east side of street. Water/Wastewater Infrastructure, Well Drilling/Pumphouses Work to be performed consists of construction of a wellhouse facility. The recently drilled Well No. 8 will be equipped with a pump and motor, and the wellhouse facility building will include site improvements, a dry feed calcium hypochlorite system for water treatment, electrical panels and controls, and process automation. The Contractor shall be licensed in the State of Washington. The Contractor shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin or sex in the performance of this contract. The Contractor shall carry out applicable requirements of 40 CFR Part 33 in the award and administration of contracts awarded under EPA financial assistance agreements. Failure by the Contractor to carry out these requirements is a material breach of this Contract which may result in the termination of this Contract. If a contract exceeds $10,000, the Contractor shall comply with Executive Order 11246, "Equal Employment Opportunity," as amended by Executive Order 11375, "Amending Executive Order 11246 Relating to Equal Employment Opportunity," and as supplemented by regulation at 41 CFR Part 60. Contractor's compliance with Executive Order 11246 shall be based on implementation of the Equal Opportunity Clause, and specific affirmative active obligations required by the Standard Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Construction Contract Specifications, as set forth in 41 CFR Part 60-4. Nob Hill Water Association is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. This project is funded through the Washington State Drinking Water State Revolving Fund program. General contractors and sub-contractors must meet Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) requirements or provisions. All work performed on the project will be subject to Davis-Bacon/Prevailing Wage requirements and Washington State prevailing wages. All work on this project will be subject to the higher of the prevailing state or federal wage rates. The American Iron and Steel provision also applies to this contract. All proposals must be submitted on the regular form furnished with the Specifications in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the name of the bidder, the name of the project, and the date and time of the bid opening. Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, postal money order, or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5 percent of the amount of such bid proposal. Checks shall be made payable to Nob Hill Water Association. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance and payment bond within the time stated in the Specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Nob Hill Water Association. Nob Hill Water Association reserves the right waive informalities in the bidding, accept a Proposal of the lowest responsible Bidder, reject any or all bids, republish the Advertisement for Bids, revise or cancel the work, or require the work to be done in another way if the best interest of the Nob Hill Water Association is served. No bidder may withdraw his proposal after the hours set for the opening thereof, or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding 60 calendar days. Notification of Addenda issuance will be issued via e-mail to the addresses listed on the Plan Holders List. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website.
