ANOUNCEMENT - 13 Sep 2022 - It is noted that the current bathroom design is not technically ADA compliant. Per a DoD Memorandum issued October 31, 2008, the Firehouse is one of a few exempt locations for this requirement. There is no need to be concerned with the need for ADA compliance at this location JBLM Firehouse Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel. The Contractor shall supply all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials to perform all w ork in strict accordance w ith the contract, this statement of w ork, and identified draw ings to conduct site preparations for the Firehouse Kitchen and Bathroom as discussed in this statement of w ork (SOW). Set Aside Status: This procurement is a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE The NAICS code for this project is 236220 w ith a size standard of $39.5 Million. Project Magnitude: The magnitude of thie project is estimated to be betw een $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and not an Invitation for Bid (IFB). As a result, there w ill not be a public bid opening. The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within 5 (five) calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 180 days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.The amount of the payment protection shall be 100 percent of the contract price.The payment protection shall provide protection for the full contract performance period plus a one-year period. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
