The undersigned hereby proposes to furnish to the Board of Water Works Trustees of the Des Moines Water Works, the estimated requirement of dense grade soda ash of approximately 108,086 pounds for the year 2023. This soda ash will be used in the purification and softening of the municipal water supply, and will be applied by means of a gravimetric feeder and slurry tank. The undersigned hereby states this product meets or exceeds the latest revision of AWWA Standard B201 for dense grade soda ash. If the supplier has not previously made shipments to the Des Moines Water Works, product samples and copies of the product purity analysis shall be presented along with the quotation. DMWW reserves the right to conduct any test/inspection it may deem advisable to assure goods and services conform to the specifications. Approximately 108,086 pounds will be delivered to: Fleur Drive Treatment Plant 408 Fleur Drive Des Moines, IA 50321-1190 Trucks delivering to Fleur Dr. will be weighed before and after product is delivered. The Des Moines Water Works reserves the right to reject any or all quotations, to waive informalities in any quotation and to accept the quotation which it determines to be in the best interest of the Des Moines Water Works.
