Site work for a water / sewer project in Independence, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Independence, Missouri (herein referred to the "City") requests sealed bids from qualified firms to install a monolithic multi-layer/component manhole lining system to provide infiltration and corrosion protection. The protective lining system will be a multi-layer protective lining system consisting of a (1) polyurea adhesion coating, (2) a polymer surface layer and (3) a final polyurea armor layer. The product requested is Obic Armor Multilayer Liner System. For this bid there are a total of twenty-four manholes with a combined vertical footage of approximately 228 ft. The manholes will require the steps to be removed, cleaning and possible light patching and grouting. The twenty-four manholes will need lined from the exposed invert to and including the cover frame, just under the manhole lid.
